Browsing our websites: the Website terms and policies. Using Roomote Cloud (our hosted service): the Cloud documents. Self-hosting Roomote: the software license — your deployment is yours, and our Cloud and Website documents don't apply to it.

Software license
Fair Core License v1.0. (on GitHub) — governs the Roomote software itself, hosted or self-hosted. The gist of it:
- Source-available: read, self-host, modify, and redistribute; free for internal use, education, research, and professional services
- Limitations: you can't offer Roomote (or something similar) as a competing commercial product; you can't bypass license-key protections (eg: the 10-user self-host cap).
- Becomes open source: every release gets an irrevocable Apache 2.0 license on its second anniversary
