These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Roomote, including the marketing site at roomote.dev, the web application at app.roomote.dev, connected integrations, preview environments, and any related software, features, or services we make available (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the Roomote Privacy Policy. If you use Roomote on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, credentials, API keys, integrations, and devices.
- You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account or workspace unless caused by Roomote's breach of these Terms.
2. Acceptable Use
You may not, and may not allow others to, use Roomote to:
- break the law, violate contracts, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or bypass another party's access controls;
- reverse engineer, copy, resell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted by law;
- disrupt, overload, probe, or interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of Roomote or any third-party service connected to it;
- upload malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or use the Service for spam, fraud, abusive automation, or harmful content;
- provide sensitive personal information, payment card data, special category data, or regulated data unless Roomote has expressly agreed in writing to support that use case.
3. Customer Content and Integrations
You retain ownership of the prompts, files, repository content, messages, output instructions, credentials, and other materials you submit to or make available through the Service ("Customer Content"). You grant Roomote a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, transmit, display, and use Customer Content as needed to operate, maintain, secure, support, and improve the Service.
If you connect GitHub, Slack, Linear, Figma, or other third-party tools, you authorize Roomote to access and act on the data those services expose to us for the workflows you configure. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide Customer Content and to connect those services.
4. Fees, Trials, and Beta Features
Some features may require payment, credits, or a separate commercial order. Unless otherwise stated in writing, fees are non-refundable and payable when due.
Free trials, preview releases, beta features, and experimental capabilities are offered on an "as is" basis. They may change, break, or disappear at any time, and Roomote may suspend or remove them without notice.
5. Ownership and Feedback
Roomote and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including the software, designs, documentation, branding, and underlying technology. No rights are granted to you other than the limited right to use the Service under these Terms.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant Roomote a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use them without restriction or compensation.
6. AI Features and Third-Party Services
Roomote may use third-party model providers, compute providers, authentication services, analytics tools, integrations, and other external services in order to deliver the Service. Those providers may have their own terms and policies, and Roomote is not responsible for services we do not control.
AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, insecure, or otherwise unsuitable for your use case. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating outputs before relying on them in production, security-sensitive, legal, financial, or other high-risk contexts.
7. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Roomote at any time. Roomote may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe that you violated these Terms, created a security or legal risk, failed to pay required fees, or used the Service in a way that could harm Roomote, other users, or third parties.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply after termination, including provisions about ownership, payment, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and general legal terms.
8. Confidentiality
Each party will use reasonable care to protect the other party's confidential information and will use it only as needed to exercise rights or perform obligations under these Terms, except where disclosure is required by law or with the disclosing party's permission.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Roomote disclaims all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
Roomote does not provide legal, financial, security, employment, compliance, or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and any output it produces.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roomote and its affiliates, contractors, licensors, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, use, or data arising from or related to the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Roomote for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid to Roomote for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Roomote and its personnel from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your Customer Content, your use of the Service, your connected integrations, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. General Terms
- Roomote may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the updated Terms on this page.
- Roomote may send notices electronically, including through the Service or by email.
- You may not assign these Terms without Roomote's prior written consent. Roomote may assign these Terms in connection with an affiliate transfer, reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, excluding conflict of laws rules, and the courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
- If any provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
