This policy applies to all use of Roomote Cloud and is part of the Cloud Terms of Service. The principle is simple: use your deployment to build your own software, not to harm others or the platform.
You may not use Roomote Cloud to:
-
Break the law — including violating others’ intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights, or processing data you have no right to process.
-
Harm systems or people — develop, host, or distribute malware; conduct unauthorized access, scanning, or penetration of third-party systems; phishing; denial-of-service; spam or abusive automation; harassment.
-
Abuse the compute — cryptocurrency mining, botnets, proxying or relaying unrelated traffic, load testing third parties without authorization, or any use of task sandboxes unrelated to operating Roomote for your own development work.
-
Abuse the platform — probe, disrupt, or circumvent isolation, rate limits, billing or user-count measurement, or other technical controls; resell or offer the Service (or substantially similar functionality) to third parties as a competing commercial product or service.
-
Evade enforcement — create accounts or workspaces to circumvent a suspension, termination, or trial limitation.
Security researchers acting in good faith against their own deployment are welcome — see /security for coordinated disclosure. Testing against other customers’ deployments or Roomote’s shared infrastructure requires prior written permission.
Enforcement. We may suspend affected workspaces for violations, with notice where practicable, and terminate for serious or repeated violations under the Terms. During active abuse or legal investigations we preserve rather than delete affected data. Report abuse: abuse@roomote.dev.
